The eastern half of the lake is available for recreational boating and fishing.

The eastern half of the lake has three boat launch areas: Homestead Knolls, Buckshot Bay (originally was the Marina) and Nunda Sholes.

Midway between the Dam and Nunda Sholes on north side of the lake.
